About Piper - Assisted Rehome 🐕
Piper is a 12 month old Husky x Bordoodle (Border Collie x Mini Poodle).....interesting mix right?!?
She has not been tested with kids or cats, but great with horses! She is friendly towards kids when out walking though....
Whilst she is the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet, she does need a very particular home, so please be sure you can provide her with what she needs….🥰
Piper is extremely smart and capable of getting into mischief. She has the inquisitive nature of a Husky, but the smarts of a Border Collie. Piper is the size of a small Kelpie and weighs around 18kg….. Don’t be fooled by her size! 🤨
She will need....
* Secure 6ft colourbond fencing/gates. She is more than capable of jumping, climbing and digging her way out.
* A home where someone is home most of the time. She can be destructive when left inside unattended.
* Another dog (or multiple) to keep her company and entertain her.
* A medium to large yard with both grass and sheltered areas.
* Husky or arctic breed experience and/or knowledge.
Piper adores her humans and gives the best cuddles ever. She will be your little shadow, following you everywhere both inside and out. She wants to be close to you at all times and will sit quietly at your feet (perfect for those who work from home).....and she can shake hands!
This girl is extremely social and plays well with other dogs. She has attended doggie daycare since the age of 3mths old. Piper also loves her walks (and walks well on lead), trips to the beach, playing fetch and car rides. Her recall is also pretty good for a Husky!
Piper has always been an indoor/outdoor dog. She sleeps indoors at night and toilet trained to use puppy pads inside the house. She is on monthly Nexgard Spectra which covers Heartworm, fleas & ticks. Although her coat may look wirey, it’s actually very soft. Piper’s dad is a wolf grey Husky with blue eyes and her mum is a Border Collie x Mini Poodle with brown eyes.
Consistent ongoing training will be required in her new home. She will need a home where boundaries are set, time and patience are provided, and an environment and lifestyle that will keep her active mind busy. She currently attends Waggintails Doggy Daycare 3-4 days each week and they have kindly offered discounted training for her new owners ❤️️
If you believe you can provide Piper with the perfect forever home, send us through an enquiry and be sure to tell us why….she is located in Terrigal, on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
