Iris

Hi! I'm Iris, a small kitten with a brave heart! I may only have one eye but that doesn't effect me at all! I am a clever kitty who loves to play with my toys and chase after anything that moves. I am most intrigued by my nails and am learning that I can use them when I jump and climb onto and over different objects in my foster home. Sometimes I try to use them to give my foster mum a massage too, but I'm learning that when she says no I have to stop. Usually I just want her to give me one instead! My favourite thing to do is spend time with my foster mum. I love to cuddle her especially at night time and in the early morning - I think she loves my fluffy, soft coat. I also enjoy joining her for dinner - she makes the best chicken - but don't worry, I know that I must eat out of my own bowl on the floor! Sometimes I get nervous around new people but then I realise that everyone loves me so I come out to play.
Also I was safely introduce to a puppy through a door, I was nervous at first but then sat curiously watching him! After a while I just walked away!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth  - or with another kitten too because we can fly in the same crate!
