~ Meet Abbott ~

Abbott’s world has just started to open up for him. Until now he was a timid, frightened boy who didn’t know how to enjoy life. This gorgeous boy has a precious, loyal soul and the most beautiful red coat.

Abbott has improved so much since he has been in our care. It can still take time for him to fully trust new people that he meets, but once comfortable, his true personality shines. He loves attention and is great company. He would make a wonderful buddy for someone that enjoys the outdoors and going on adventures.

Abbott is a joy to take on walks and easy to handle. He is very food orientated and will sit & shake hands if offered a treat. Abbott has been introduced to a number of pound buddies. Initially he barks at them to get their attention but once fully introduced, he has lovely manners and just wants to play. Abbott is not comfortable in the presence of cats and would prefer to move away from them.

Abbott’s perfect home would be one that is positive and reassuring. He will need to be given time to slowly adjust to his new environment and humans. Abbott requires high secure fencing and daily walks to keep him happy and healthy.
