Snowy is a handsome fella with a lovely soft temperament. His favourite things are pats, playing in the hose and playing soccer with the kids.
As is common with his breed he is a very intelligent boy and picks up new things fast. He will do anything for a treat. Due to his big ol’ brain, Snowy would do well in a home who like to provide mental as well as physical stimulation. Even though he is an active breed his energy levels are only around medium and he loves to chill with his people, while you are doing things around the house and yard he likes to be right beside you.
Snowy currently lives with Two primary age children and loves to play with them. He also lives with chooks and ducks and learned quickly to ignore them, even when off lead in the yard with them. Snowy has great recall but is quite keen on things that move fast and make noise (cars, motorbikes, whipper snippers, chainsaws, mowers etc), due to this we would not recommend letting him off lead where these things may put him at risk.
Snowy has recently finished his treatment for heartworm so he will need another check up at our vet in January 2021. Due to this Snowy is only available for local adoption. As Snowy was required to have his activity levels restricted while undergoing his treatment he would benefit from his new owners continuing his diet as he is currently a little portly.
Snowy is a lovely boy who would love a family of his own. He would be best suited to a home with another doggy companion or someone who is home a lot.
