About Bosco
Hi! I'm Bosco and I'm a very lovable little boy. I'm still a puppy and am just discovering the happiness that life has to offer now I'm being so well loved and cared for by my foster family.
I have learnt so much since I arrived here a few weeks ago. I've learnt that pats are great, I love people and will choose pats and cuddles over playing with toys (unlike my brother Bowser). I have learnt that I no longer need to worry about where my next meal will come from so I often leave some of my meals to come back to later; I have also learnt to sit nicely before I'm given my food. One of my favourite things to do now is to hide special treats and come back to them later.
I am a black/white/tan kelpie cross always with a grin on and I like chewing on things - what puppy doesn't? and I don't mind having a bath although it's definitely not my favourite thing. I am great with kids, very affectionate and I enjoy their love and attention.
I am playful but a little shy. I'm more reserved than my brother. I will be happy in any kind of home environment as I get along well with everyone and I'm quite laid back and easy going.
If you think that I am the pup for you, please apply online today.
Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.
I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
