About Zuber
What a gorgeous hunk of a dog!
This stunning boy is basically a pup in a big body! Zuber is a large dog, currently 45kg and acts like a puppy. He gets over excited by most things and is still learning all the basics.
He came to us with no training and socialisation and had lived his life in a backyard as he was too strong on lead to walk. Whilst in care, he's been learning some lead skills, basic manners and how to behave. He's still a work in progress and is coming along nicely. He needs a patient and committed owner to help develop him further.
Zuber is dog friendly but at this stage, should be an only dog at home and not taken to dog parks as he is too boisterous for most other dogs and hasn't learnt any doggy manners yet. Once he's with the right handler that can teach him how to calm down around dogs, be polite and play nicely, he'll be fine.
He enjoys playing with toys, a good game a fetch with a ball, finding the squeaky part in squeaky toys and just generally hanging in the yard.
Zuber is affectionate and friendly with people, enjoys a good cuddle and is also happy to do his own thing. He is mostly crate trained, sleeps well through the night, is house trained and an all round good dog.
He will need a very experienced handler that has had previous experience in working with dogs that need guidance in how to behave and calming their exuberance. A family committed to his ongoing training, socialisation and happiness and when ready, show him what adventures life has to offer. He is not suited to the average dog owner.
Zuber should be allowed inside at night and have a soft, comfy bed for sleep time. He's best suited to older and dog savvy teenagers rather than small children based on his size and enthusiasm.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
