Boof

I'm Boof and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• Seems a bit stiff & unsure around some dogs and disinterested so he would be best suited to being an only dog but with lots of socialising with other dogs
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• Happy to live with children as I have lived with them in the past

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard for long periods of time
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car

My best features:
• LOVE people
• Very playful
• I can sit on command
• LOVE LOVE LOVE belly rubs
• Tennis balls are my favourite toy
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be a little bit strong on the lead - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this

AN ADOPTED CAN'T BE APPROVED IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TO THE SHELTER TO MEET BOOF IN PERSON.

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET BOOF BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
