Two year old BLUE, a border collie mix, is in desperate need of a safe, loving and patient home.

This gentle boy has so much love to give and would make a superb companion dog. But, sadly, his life to date has not been great, which is why he's timid and scared of loud noises. In fact, he's scared of most things, including new people. When he meets someone new, he tucks his tail so tightly between his legs that it's hard to tell he even has a tail. It will take time, reassurance and patience to earn his trust, but the reward will be a loving and loyal dog that will be your buddy for life.

Blue is currently living happily with children, other dogs and a cat. He loves to play fetch and, true to his breed, he's as smart as new paint and highly trainable.

The ideal home for Blue is one where his humans are home most of the time and are prepared to put the time and patience into repairing this boy's damaged heart and soul. He needs to be an integral part of the family. Good fencing is essential.

Blue's adoption fee is $495 and he's desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
