About Freckles DL2519
Freckles is the sweetest, most loving girl you will ever meet!
She takes it slowly meeting new people, but soon makes friends. She will happily lay by your side all day for pats, belly rubs and snuggles.
Freckles is a quiet girl, we haven't heard her bark. She is fully house trained, she will wait at the door when she needs to go outside. She is eager to please and already has basic training like sit, stay, or wait for her food patiently. She will thrive with ongoing training.
Freckles is fantastic in the car and great on the lead when on walks. However, you will need to work on her confidence when on walks, as she is startled easily by loud noises or passing dogs/strangers (when she gets frightened, she stops and lays down).
Freckles likes a nice peaceful home, so will be best with older kids. She hasn't been tested with cats. As she doesn't love being left home alone, ideally you'll be home often and able to work on this with her.
Freckles is good with other dogs after a slow introduction. She could go with a very laid back male dog, but would really be happiest as your only dog so she doesn't have to share your attention.
Help Freckles to build her confidence and you will have the most wonderful addition to your family. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com today to apply.
