Nelson

Nelson has tested positive for the FIV virus (feline immunodeficiency virus) so would be best to be the only kitty in his new home or with other positive felines.

The FIV virus is only transmitted to other cats and is passed via cat fights, mating or bites. This virus essentially means that Nelson’s immune system can be slightly lower and might need to work harder to fight off infections. The virus is generally not a death sentence and most cats with FIV live long happy and healthy lives!
