About Roxy
Roxy is supposed to be a labrador x maltese but she looks like she definitely has some corgi in her genes somewhere:-) Roxy only weighs about 10kgs with short legs and stocky long body. No matter what her exact breed is Roxy is definitely sugar and spice and all things nice with lots of love to give her new family.
Roxy was surrenderd to us due to a change in her family's circumstances. Roxy has always lived with another dog so we feel it is best that she be rehomed with another young medium/large size friendly playful dog.
Roxy is house-trained and loves to spend time inside with her family so a home where she is permitted inside at all times and can sleep inside in a warm area of the home is essential. In her previous home she slept in her owner's bedroom so of course Roxy would prefer if this was possible in her new home:) however as long as she can sleep inside in a warm area then this would also be ok.
Roxy is energetic, loves her long walks and has great recall off leash. Roxy will therefore need a home where she gets at least an hour's exercise a day and can be taken to parks, beaches and the like where she can romp and play.
Roxy can be a little nervous in the car but is getting to understand that the car means fun places so we are sure this will only improve over the next weeks and months if her car trips continue with her new family.
Roxy is great with children so would be ok in a home with older children where she could be included in the family's activities as much as possible.
Roxy is not suitable for apartment living as she will need a garden to sniff and space to play with her new buddy.
If you would like to meet Roxy please send us as much information as possible about your family, lifestyle and other canine family member, so that we can see if you are both a good match.
