About Bruce
Hello everyone,
Please meet Bruce. He is a beautiful boy here at the shelter, looking for a really caring and understanding owner. Bruce came to us with an injury, which he is still in the process of recovering from. He is on the lookout for a home that will give him time to heal up appropriately, and understand his ongoing needs while recovering.
Bruce will need a home that keeps him inside strictly when you are to go out. He can not have free range of a backyard or large area at this stage, for at least another month. This is because, we do not want him doing any off lead running around, jumping and being super silly.
He is a great dog with great sociability with other dogs!!! However Bruce is not so great with cats unfortunately. He loves his other K9 companions, but at this stage, for at least another month, he can not run around with his K9 friends. Gentle walks on lead though would be fine.
Bruce has lived in a foster home where they adored him and couldn't speak more highly of him. He can be frightened of storms as well, and may bark during them, so also best to make sure he has a safe and secure place inside when those storms roll in. He adored watching the foster parents cook, do the house chores, and watch TV as well. He made a really nice and gentle inside dog. The foster parents did have him crate trained as well, so that is handy thing for a dog like Bruce to know, especially as he will need his RR time.
If you think that Bruce is the right fit for you and the family, then please come on down and meet him. Please make sure you bring all the family along and any current dogs that Bruce may be living with or frequently visiting.
All AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, health checked, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated.
