About Crusader~ Wolfhound X Bull Arab~ On Trial 19/10/20
Crusader is my name and singing in my game. I am a male wolfhound x Bulldog x Bull Arab and I am a huge 4 month old boy. I am pretty laid back and will call you for cuddles and snuggles. I love helping to mop, by helping I mean grabbing hold and going for a ride. I am a big bundle of love with big floppy paws, ears that flap in the wind when I go for car rides and hound-dog eyes. I love playing tug-o-war with my humans or another dog.
I would do well in a home with someone who is home alot and has time to train me, such as a newly retired couple or individual, empty nesters, or someone who works from home. A property without close neighbours as I'm not much of a Barker but will serenade you for a cuddle. I'm not overly active boy and spend my days at my foster mums feet.
I’m not suited to a home with young kids as I have sharp puppy teeth and I really want all the attention myself ! A home with dog savvy children 12+ years who are confident with big dogs would be OK though.
My siblings and I are a special bunch of pups - we love watching T.V of an evening, we eat dinner after 6pm and then we put ourselves to bed. We sleep all night long and wake at 6am when our foster mum wakes us. We've even learnt how to use the Puppy Potty Patch to relieve ourselves and we mostly go outside to toilet throughout the day. See - I told you we were special!
Before applying for me or one of my siblings I have some questions for you to consider:
-Have you thought about loving and caring for me for the next 12-15 years - maybe even longer ?
-I am a furever dog not just a COVID dog
-I won’t be a tiny puppy for long and will get up to mischief as I become a teenager. Are you ready for that?
-Have you thought about my extra puppy meals throughout the day?
-Will somebody be home more often than not to keep me socialised?
-I will most likely be a large adult so do you have solid and tall fencing (5-6 foot) to keep me safe?
-I won’t suit an apartment , courtyards or a small yard. I need a medium to large yard to play and rumble in!
-Have you thought about my ongoing physical training and mental stimulation (enrichment games) so that I don't get bored and destructive?
-Will I have access to inside at all times to ensure that I am a part of your family?
I'm watching and learning from you from the moment I open my eyes. Being inside means that I will learn what leads to praise and reward and what doesn't. Being under supervision also means I learn boundaries (crucial as I grow older) and means I am less likely to develop nuisance behaviours due to boredom.
If you’re keen for an attentive and affectionate chap like me then please email my foster mum Kelly on adoptmefromkelly@hotmail.com . I’m located near Wyong (Central Coast). You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
As I am not yet desexed, I am only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens areas as I will need to be returned to our vet for desexing when I am approximately 5 months old. Exceptional Sydney based adoptions will only be considered upon approval. I am NOT available for long distance or interstate adoption.
My adoption fee is $600 which covers my desexing, vaccination, microchipping, flea and worming treatments.
