Had you met Kiki of a few weeks ago you almost wouldn’t recognise the kitten she is today. That’s because this stunning fluffy calico and white girl has gone from being a terrified stray to a loving and playful house kitty.

When she arrived in our care Kiki would hiss and hide away whenever people approached her but then would begin purring as soon as you picked her up. Slowly, over time with her patient foster carers, Kiki began to be less frightened and more curious.

Fast forward a few weeks and Kiki has finally found her feet, and her confidence. However she has been in a quiet environment with no children or dogs – and this suits her just fine.

As such, Kiki needs a relatively quiet home of only adults (retired, older or working from home would be ideal) and no dogs. And her new people would need to understand that this girl will take a few weeks to settle in her new environment – and she will take time to begin to trust you.

With patience and time to get used to things, Kiki will do well and eventually show her adorable, playful and fun-loving nature. She is social with other kitties so would be fine to go to a home that already has a cat. And she would also do well as an only cat.

When she is comfortable, Kiki loves nothing more than to zip about the house playing. She enjoys a good game of fetch but will need encouragement from you to play when she moves to her new home.

Once Kiki has worn herself out from playing, she loves nothing more than a kitten nap on a warm lap as you watch tv or to follow you as you head off to bed.

With patience, time and understanding, Kiki will make a wonderful, loving companion – she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She prides herself on being very clean (her coat is amazing!), and she is completely litter trained.
