On Hold
Missy is a pretty, friendly and affectionate dog.
She has lovely markings and a short, easy care coat.
She is on her feet to greet you as doon as she sees you and will lean on you for a pat.
She gets along well with other dogs too.
She does jump up. It isn't a knock-you-off-your-feet jump though. She is learning that she only gets pats when she has four paws on the floor!
She will sit, wait for her dinner and travels well in the car. She needs more practice on the lead as she pulls, but not too strongly.
A trait we are working on is her habit of 'mouthing'. On occasion, she will mouth your hand - usually when you withdraw it from patting her. It is very gentle and soft, like an open-mouthed lick, but undesirable nonetheless. It will just need consistent correction to break the habit.
She is eager to please and food motivated which is helpful in her training.
Missy is in care in western Sydney.
