About Rosebud
Hullo, Hoo's it gaun? My name is Rosebud.
I showed up to BARC as a stray, so noo i'm 'here looking for a home to call me own.
I'm not your typical Scottish fold lass, not a bossy bone in my body, I am just absolutely bursting at the seams with love and affection all the time.
My hobbies include, log throwing, cooking and eating haggis with an ice cold glass of Irn-Bru. Not really, give me a sunny window, and comfy couch and all 16 seasons of Greys Anatomy and I would be much happier.
I am a dainty little miss, and I also have very pink eyes and nose so I will only be available to a home where I can live as a strictly indoor cat.
I would love to go to a home that has some activity, I am super curious and I love to be involved in ALL of the activities! If I had someone around lots to spend time with me telling me how gorgeous I am that would make me the absolute happiest! I am so playful and friendly I would be great around children.
Cheerio the nou, and I hope ta see you soon.
If you think that I would be the puurfect addition to your home I am taking applications of interest. Please send through your application via e-mail accompanied with a short bio into your background to barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au
Available for adoption via application only.
Please note that we will not be accepting appointments from stage 4 lock down areas.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
