About Fat Arnold
READY FOR ADOPTION: FAT ARNOLD
Fat Arnold is a very special special needs boy who holds a special place in our hearts, especially that of his foster mum, Debi. Yes that's a lot of specials because he really is a very special boy!
Arnold is highly food orientated and very playful. He loves his smooches and cuddles. He walks on a harness and is still harness training.
Arnold is diabetic so he is on 2 units of insulin twice a day and his diet is Royal Canin Satiety wet and dry food. He comes with 3 week's worth of food (about $100) and enough insulin for 6 months.
He eats his wet and dry twice a day and has steamed veggies for lunch! The veggies trick his mind into thinking he is full. Arnold has no teeth and often uses his hands to pick up his food. He is cheeky and funny and an awesome companion . He also likes to be vacuumed!
It would be a bonus if his new owner has some kind of experience with diabetes but either way Debi will stay in close contact to make sure that he is doing ok and help you pick up the process.
Just when you thought he wasn't special enough to warrant all those specials Arnold is FIV+ too so he will need an inside only home or enclosure!
If you're looking for a very special character who will be your amazing companion for many years Fat Arnold is the boy for you!
