Scooby is a cuddly boy who loves pats and playing with toys. He loves to play but is also happy to cuddle up with you on the couch of an evening. Scooby thinks he’s a lap dog and may try to sit on your lap if you let him. He walks pretty well on a lead with a harness. His perfect home would be with someone who lets him be an inside and outside dog and without a cat. Scooby is currently undergoing heartworm treatment as he tested positive to heartworm but once he is completed treatment he will be able to lead a normal life.
*Medical Note: Undergoing heartworm treatment
*Non-local adoptions: please keep in mind pet transport companies are currently closed or experiencing heavy delays due to having limited flight times with COVID-19 restrictions in place.
Medical notes
Heartworm positive, currently undergoing Treatment

First you need to email and inquire about whatever animal you are looking at to find out more information. If you believe this animal may suit you we will discuss the adoption process and go from there. All our animals are located in Townsville, North Queensland. If you are interstate or not a local the Angel Paws team are more than happy to answer as many questions you have about the animal to ensure they are the right one for you. We are also able to provide more pictures from the animals foster carers to assist you on your decision. The rest of the adoption process all depends on those first steps.
