About Chevy
SORRY, LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY I'm very cute and adore people. I don't like to be left alone, so I'll follow you around the house and settle nearby, or preferably on your lap on the lounge. I will sook for a while when you go out and must have secure fences so I don't try to follow. I get on fine with my foster sister, who's a border collie, but was dominant with my previous owner's dog, who was smaller than me. I much prefer people to animals and I'm not cat friendly. I have a coat that will need brushing to keep away the knots.
After a long walk Chevy favoured a back leg, and although she recovered quickly we asked our vet to check. He has found that she has what is probably a strained cruciate ligament in her right hind leg. Small dogs will often recover without surgery and he recommended a long period of rest followed by small walks building up. We are seeking a new owner willing to follow this advice. Please note that if surgery does become necessary it will be at the new owner's cost.-
