About 3225 - Winnie
🌿💚🌼 INTRODUCING WINNIE 🌼💚🌿
Winnie is a very special kitten. Two months ago she came to me (her foster Mum) as a spicy kitten, petrified of humans and pretty much everything. Over the past weeks, she has become completely bonded to me, playful, talented (she does tricks!) and the best companion to have in the house.
A day in the life of Winnie consists of: waiting at my door in the morning for our wake-up routine (lots of pats and cuddles, sitting next to me while I brush my teeth, and then breakfast), spending most of 8:30-5:30 on my lap while I’m at my desk, play time, dinner time and then she goes into a food coma lying on me which usually means I can’t move for an hour or two.
Winnie is independent in that I can leave her home alone without worrying, she is very neat and clean - she knows how to use her litter and doesn’t make a mess when eating, she is very quiet apart from occasional meows which are definitely the cutest sound I’ve ever heard, and overall very low maintenance.
Winnie absolutely loves treats which made training her to “touch”, sit and “speak” very easy, and playing with pen lids and scrunched up paper instead of the expensive toys she was bought. She LOVES scratches under her chin and along her back, and sometimes on her tummy but only if she feels like it- if she doesn’t you’ll get a little slap or a nip. She is very curious and will be your little shadow around the house.
She really is perfect (to me). The catch: Winnie could be the perfect kitten for you as long as it’s the perfect home for her. She needs a quiet house (no kids, no dogs) as she is still noise sensitive and timid, she needs a human/s that are going to be so patient for the first few weeks-months while you gain her trust and let her settle after the stress of moving, someone who preferably has experience with cats so they understand her, and who understand that when people come over she will hide until it’s safe to come out.
Winnie has had a foster brother and sister. She loved her brother Scout and they were inseparable. She wasn’t happy about her new sister at first but in time she accepted her. So, with a very slow introduction, there is potential for her to live happily with another cat.
Once Winnie trusts you, she will be the most special addition to the family, and she will melt your heart with her big eyes, fluffy white belly, and little meows. If I could keep her there is absolutely no way I would let her go.
Please carefully consider your application for Winnie and only apply if you believe you can give her the best chance of fitting into her new forever home.
