Flame is an absolute gem. The most delightful little pup with a gorgeous personality. She absolutely loves being around her people, as well as meeting new ones. Flame is looking for a family that can spend lots of time kissing and cuddling her, she absolutely loves attention. She loves to be outside when her family are outside, but isn’t overly fussed about getting out in the yard if her humans are inside!
Flame is a little hesitant with other dogs at the moment, but has only met a few and I am confident with socialisation she will love other dogggo company. She adores the cat she is currently living with (even if he isn’t too fond of her!) She is happy outside on her own for a while, but much prefers the company of her special people. She loves to cuddle up on the couch next to you. She sleeps in her crate with a little bit of crying on and off. She will let you know with a little whining when she needs to use the toilet overnight! During the day when she is inside she waits at the door and occasionally gives a little yelp when she needs to go out for the toilet. The only time she will go inside is if her people haven’t noticed her at the door! She loves toys (or socks and slippers) in her crate with her to keep her occupied until falling asleep. She has a pigs ear that is currently 2 weeks old that she carries everywhere, buries in the couch and nibbles on when falling asleep.
Flame has a few big spurts of energy during the day and early evening with lots of zoomies, stealing socks or track pants and playing but tires out quick and loves a nap on the couch in the sun. She is learning to walk on a lead well, but will still need lots of practice as she can be a bit stubborn!
Flame is extremely clever. She has learnt the command ‘sit’, and is working on ‘wait’ for her food. She responds well to treats. As she is a pup she is still a bit “nibbley” but responds well to correction.
If you’re looking for a new member to the family, then flame is the girl for you! She is an absolute delight!
A condition of Challys adoption agreement is that ALL our dogs send puppies adopters are to be take through puppy school and obedience training. If you are unable to commit to this requirement, please do not apply.

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
