About Millie
This dear little pup is a very fine example of what we Northerners call a Territory brown dog. Although she was very small when she came into care - just a few kilos -from the beginning she was very confident in a crew of eight dogs of different sizes and ages. She didn’t hesitate to strike up games with the younger ones, but has always been respectful of the elders. She loves to play chasey and will fearlessly wrestle with the big dogs. She is a cuddly little thing and in her rest times loves to snuggle up with her special person.
When she gets tired she’ll find a quiet spot, sometimes at your feet, or curled up in a dog bed. At 10 weeks old she is already able to go through the night without waking.
With her cooperative nature and natural intelligence, she will be easy to teach. She has a loyal nature and will thrive with a special person to attach to. We think she would do best in a home with another friendly playful dog.
Our rescue and rehabilitation is based in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of local adopters we routinely rehome to South Australia. Millie is currently in foster Care near Alice Springs. Her adoption fee covers transport via a direct flight from Alice Springs.
