About Jingi
This is Jinji aka Gilbert aka Gilboy!
A super affectionate ginger chubby cheeked tom cat who snores, loves company, cuddles and plenty o pats.
His story:
When we first got him he wasn't looking so good, he was found in a trap and taken to the pound where he was taken down to us by the lovely charity.
Gilbert has recovered well and settles even better. Unfortunately, he is a poorly cat with FIV, inflamed kidneys and weeping eyes so best looked after alone. This does not stop him from being the fun loving character he is though ❤️
He is around 5 years, litter trained, a semi long hair ginger mix and extremely domesticated (he doesn't even try to take your food and waits till you tell him to come up on the sofa)!
He sleeps plenty and loves company, usually to cuddle up or for a bit of a play. His care is palliative, but we think he still has plenty of life left in him yet.
We are so so sad we can't look after him anymore, we will be moving into our van and this won't be ideal for him as he needs plenty of rest and comfort. We have developed a trustful loving bond; so with patience and time comes so much love with this kitty.
Likes: sleeping plenty in strange places, cuddles and pats, company, wobbling his chubby cheeks, playing after breakfast, head rubs and toothbrush combs, lying in the morning sun
Dislikes: tummy being touched as it is big and inflamed, the sound of plastic bags, being outside his comfort zone, being scratched under the chin, jumping up too high
Medical notes
He is FIV postitive , has enlarged kidneys and will need to be on renal wet and dry food
