Duke

Handsome Duke is 3 years old ....a Kelpie x Cattle dog mix .
He was adopted via the rescue but due to no fault of his own he is once again looking for his forever home. He has good recall (responds best to a simple whistle), has grown up with tween/teenage kids,(kids 5 and older) and a cat . He is housetrained and well behaved inside. Although he no doubt has the ability to jump , it’s not been discovered , so he’s not a fence jumper but .....good fencing is always recommended. He will benefit from ongoing lead training and a good “no pull” harness initially as he can pull when something takes his interest .
Duke is dog social with a range of dogs , big and small, and just loves a ride in the car.
Duke has a reasonably high energy level and will need a large yard and regular walks. He would go well with another playful, social dog . He is very gentle taking food from the hand and has no food aggression.
A true young gentleman that would fit into a family home very quickly.

Face to face meeting , with other pets and kids currently in household, preferred (with Covid guidelines strictly followed)

Due to current lock down restrictions a Face time meeting maybe available on request and transport arranged at additional cost to the adoption fee if distance and restrictions is a barrier
