About Ronan and Finn
Due to Covid restrictions we are only taking enquiries from Ballarat and surrounding areas.
Please do some research on what's involved in adequately housing and caring for guinea pigs.
Please also let us know what type of cage/enclosure you will be using.
Guinea pigs make wonderful pets and like all other animals they need lots of room to run and play and most enjoy human interaction once they feel safe with their people, they're not pets to be put in a hutch outside and forgotten about.
We prefer our guinea pigs to be indoors with supervised outdoor time, there's a lot of information available about having indoor guinea pigs and we are happy to give advice.
Guine pigs require a specific type of diet consisting of a variety of vegetables and fruits and theyneed a constant supply of fresh hay.
Ronan and Finn bonded to each other instantly. Ronan (approx 2.5 years old) had been alone for months without a companion, so when little three-week-old Finn came into his life, they became fast and forever friends. They give each other the confidence they need; Finn is young, and Ronan is very shy. These two always want to be together and little Finn starts calling for his big brother if he doesn’t know where he is! Neither of them like being caught, however, once you have them, they do enjoy a nice warm cuddle.
Please contact us if you think you can offer these boys the type of home we're looking for
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
