Storm

I'm Storm and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• Although I previously lived with another dog I don't appear to be very social with strange dogs. It's best if I go to a home where I'm the only dog but my new family MUST socialise me with other dogs so I can become a well behaved girl
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent) - I have been known to take myself for a walk so I MUST have a secure yard with high fences and gates and nothing against the fence/gate that I can use to jump over the fence.
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• Happy to live with children
• No cats - I will bark at them and possibly chase them

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard for long periods of time
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car

My best features:
• LOVE people
• Very playful
• I can sit on command
• Wiggle butt
• Love kids
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be strong on the lead - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this
• Socialising with other dogs is required

AN ADOPTED CAN'T BE APPROVED IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TO THE SHELTER TO MEET STORM IN PERSON.
ANY EXISTING DOGS MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET STORM BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
