About Bowie
Bowie, Border Collie X, approx. 12 - 18 months old, 26kg
Hi there, my name is Bowie and I am looking for my forever family who will love me to bits.
This is me in a nutshell:
I am super affectionate and love my cuddles
Very energetic and intelligent
Love to hang out with my humans and other dogs
I know sit, shake, drop, give and come here (sometimes)
I actually DO NOT bark … at all. I don’t know why.
What I need in my new home:
Lots of exercise (1-2 hours per day)
Mental stimulation (play, learn, explore, chew)
Company (I love to be close to my humans)
Large interactive and safe environment
A cosy indoor place to sleep near my family
Areas where I can still improve:
Sometimes I still get things wrong when I pick what I can chew on.
I will benefit from further training, and I promise I will learn very quickly.
Well, I must admit I have an addiction - I just cannot stay away from small animals like cats or small dogs. I just can’t help it, I must round them up. I won’t ever do anything bad to them but I just neeeed to keep them rounded up….
My foster mum says it’s because I’m a working dog, I just know I’m not a broken dog.
What I am looking for:
I would be best suited for a family where someone is at home often, as I really like interaction.
Another medium or large active dog for me to play with in the family would be wonderful but not a must.
My humans need to have time for me to exercise, play and cuddle. I am so smart I need mental stimulation too.
It’s better if the family has no cat or other small animals
(because of my addiction, you know).
A large fully fenced garden or property would be a dream!
I will be the BEST DOG EVER if you can give me what I need. xo

Adoption details
The adoption fee includes desexing, microchipping, first vaccination, worming and flea treatment, current at time of adoption.
Our cats are to be indoor only, we figure this is a big step towards keeping them out of the pound!
Our dogs are to be inside/outside dogs, allowed to be inside at night and in poor weather conditions, included in the family, not left in the yard.
Adoption process includes a meet and greet followed by a home visit ( in your home) by one of our team. Photo ID will also be required upon application.
