Leonard

Leonard is lovable two year old boy, and describes himself as a friendly gentle giant.

He is a very sweet affectionate boy who loves attention, particularly once he has warmed up to you. Leonard is known to be quite happy to laze around and nap all day with you on the couch, provided he gets a daily walk.

Leonard is well house trained, with no accidents while in foster care. His manners are improving everyday and is very responsive to being told off and also to praise. Just due to Leonard's size and tail height, it would be recommended that his new home did not have young kids.

Leonard however doesn’t like being alone, or missing out on his daily walks, so has a tendency to find something to chew in these situations, e.g. a shoe, we think this is mostly down to him still being so young, so patience is needed there (and put your shoes away).

Leonard loves his daily walks but has had minimal experience walking on a lead. He has showed improvements during his time in foster care, however please ensure that if you take Leonard on you will need to continue to work with him on this and ensure you are fully cable of handing a big dog.
