Kokoda is a once in a lifetime dog. He is incredibly smart, loving and loyal. Knows all his basic commands from his past life as a military service dog. He would be best suited to someone who leads an active lifestyle as he loves going for long hikes and adventures. Koda also loves other dogs but wouldn’t be suited to live in the same yard as energetic dogs as he loves his alone time. He is currently undergoing heartworm treatment as he tested positive to heartworm but once he is completed treatment he will be able to lead a normal life.
*Medical note: Currently undergoing heartworm treatment
*Non-local adoptions: please keep in mind pet transport companies are currently closed or experiencing heavy delays due to having limited flight times with COVID-19 restrictions in place.

Currently undergoing heartworm treatment.

First you need to email and inquire about whatever animal you are looking at to find out more information. If you believe this animal may suit you we will discuss the adoption process and go from there. All our animals are located in Townsville, North Queensland. If you are interstate or not a local the Angel Paws team are more than happy to answer as many questions you have about the animal to ensure they are the right one for you. We are also able to provide more pictures from the animals foster carers to assist you on your decision. The rest of the adoption process all depends on those first steps.
