About Stompy
Do you live in a townhouse? Do you work from home most of the time?
STOMPY is ready to be adopted by a loving person / family in Melbourne.
Stompy is a 4.5 year old male Australian Bulldog who we know will bring someone so much joy. He is gentle, enjoys pats and sleeping in the winter sun. Stompy is great to walk on lead, and enjoys going on car trips. He likes food (a little too much), and whilst he can be stubborn at times, he is always incredibly friendly. Trips to the dog beach are one of his favourite past-times.
Stompy is suitable to lives kids of all ages. His previous family had a toddler and a baby and he was always great with them.
Stompy has always lived as the only pet, but he's totally fine to be walked on lead around other dogs.
Stompy has recently had his 'tail' removed due to a deep pocket and previous infections. He does suffer from allergies and needs daily medications and cleaning. For this reason, Stompy isn't suited to a new home with grass/pollens around. A townhouse near the city will be perfect for him.
Stompy is currently fostered in St Kilda and is available for adoption in Melbourne. Please submit adoption applications here http://www.minisbulldogrescue.com/apply
Medical notes
Stompy recently had surgery to remove his 'tail'. This is healing well and the hair is growing back. Once fully healed this shouldn't cause him any concerns.
Stompy is allergic to grasses & pollens. He is best suited to a home without grass, and shouldn't be walked on grass very often. He does need tablets given and eye ointment applied twice daily, with a accompanying wipe down of his folds, feet & ears with baby wipes to remove any pollens he has picked up from from the air/on walks. This will need to be kept up for life.

The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
