About Buddy
Meet Buddy. This super handsome boy is such a lovely pup. He is a big boy and should end up being quite a big, solid dog when fully grown. When you adopt a large dog, training is very important as it can be the difference between a great family pet and a stubborn boofa you struggle to control. Consequently Buddy's new owners will need to invest time, commitment and effort into training him so that he knows the household routine, structure and what's expected of him.
Buddy is a lovely pup who gets along well with the other dogs he's met since being in SAFE's care. With ongoing socialisation with other pooches (eg obedience classes), he will keep this nice social nature into adulthood. He's also fine with cats at this young age.
Buddy will need daily exercise once his vaccination regime is completed, along with lots of interaction with his new owners, games, fun and most of all love. He will need toilet training and preferably a home where someone is home a fair part of the day especially whilst he is settling in. Secure fencing will be a must.
If you like big boofy dogs and can provide Buddy with an inclusive, loving and committed home, please drop us an enquiry. Please note, applicants will need to complete our full SAFE application form to be considered.
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check with flea and worming treatment, puppy vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of details into new owner's name) and sterilisation at 6 months at a SAFE Bunbury approved vet clinic (see list below). We do not include heartworm treatment.
ADOPTION DETAILS
Adoption Fee - $565
Our adoption process for shortlisted applicants includes a meet-and-greet with your family (and dog if you already have one); a property check and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. Please note if you already own a dog, we will need to sight his/her current vaccination record before you meet this pup.
All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). Adoption paperwork will be emailed to the applicant once a meet has been arranged.
Upon completion of the trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your pet's microchip to the new owner, and email copies of his vet records.
