About Nyx
Well where do I start, Nyx is a pure German Shepard from working lines and she is 6 years old. Nyx used to be a carefree beautiful dog who loved life and other dogs and about 8 month ago Nyx got Pannus. This is a condition that affects the layers of fibrous tissue that extend over the surface of the Cornea. If untreated this will result in blindness. We believe Nyx is mostly blind but may be able to see shadows of some sort. We are due to see a vet with her so at this stage we are only taking expressions of interest in Nyx. She will need vet visits often during her life so a committed family with German Shepard experience is a MUST !!!
Nyx is just beautiful, she is super smart, fully crate trained and is working super hard on her queues to relearn her new life. She absolutely loves her toys and balls she has definitely captured our hearts here.
What Nyx will need is someone home most of the time and willing to put in the work and I can assure you she is worth it. She needs a Home with out animals as she now has formed some fear as she cant see them. She is definitely human friendly but will not be a match for a family with small children.
If you think you have the love and devotion she needs we would love to hear from you.
