About Sheba
Hello! My name is Sheba and I am looking for my forever home. Here is a little bit about me.
I am a huge fan of zoomies and need a backyard to do so. Ideally, I would like to have a brother or sister from another mother so we can have a good play and we can burn up some of this so called ”energy” that my foster mum says I have, I personally don’t know what she means.
I am more than happy to stay home alone if I need to and I am completely aware that numbers 1s and 2s are for outside, not inside. I do need mental and physical stimulation though so if I don’t have any canine siblings, I hope you can come home to play with me or not be gone for too long!
I walk like a lady on the lead and am a super quick learner. I use my manners every day and I am really good at sit, down, stay, bed and I wait quietly for my food (even if I am super hungry!). I am learning how to sit quietly and wait for acknowledgement or pats when my foster mum comes home.
I love a sleep in and enjoy my night sleeps and day naps in my crate. After my dinner I wait for my foster mum to tuck me into my crate, I do love that.
I am just a gentle girl who loves a belly rub and massage, just sitting with you will make me happy. I do like a walk, I tend not to let other people or dogs bother me (unless they come running up a little too quickly), and if they do, I’ll give a little grunt or whine to let you know I am feeling uncomfortable so we can move away.
I do get a little anxious and have special ‘treats’ to help calm me down. I have previously been known to have partial seizures but with the medication I am on, this has stopped since I came to live with my foster mum (refer medical notes). I am working on not being too worried about my foster mum’s friends coming to visit but this may need to be ongoing as I am just not too sure sometimes.
If you think we could be best pals forever and ever and you can offer me the special home I need and deserve, please contact my case manager and carer, they’re lovely too (but not as lovely as me!).
Medical notes
Sheba is on Lovan (once a day) for anxiety and medication for partial seizures - has not had any seizures since starting medication.
