About Turtle 🐢
Young Turtle has a big life ahead of him and is looking for a sidekick to join him on this adventure.
Energetic and curious, Turtle is finding his way in life and still learning all about the ways of the world. He's had some training and is working on his manners, but would appreciate someone to help guide him a little more while he gets the hang of things.
This guy is very food oriented and that's definitely the way to his doggy heart. He also loves a good soft toy or ten, and would prefer to pull these apart than chase a tennis ball. He knows you're just trying to trick him in going for a run!
Turtle loves to walk and take in all his surrounds. Eager to see the world, he can pull a bit on the lead, but he's got his road safety in check and sits at intersections. He is usually pretty good at letting other dogs pass by unless they start to bark at him first - then he wants to have a chat back.
He curious towards other dogs, a little intrusive at times and can get a bit anxious, so some slow introductions would be needed if he were to meet any new friends. Turtle would be happy to be an only-dog child and lap up all the attention to himself.
A home with older kids would be ideal for Turtle as he can get a bit excited and jump. He also loves to show his affection with plenty of licks, which the little ones might not appreciate!
Turtle will move in to his new home with all his toys, special blanket, bowls and 6 months worth of worming tablets - this big softy just needs a family to call his own!
Turtle's adoption is an assisted adoption via the PetRescue Home2Home program.
Medical notes
Turtle is a happy and healthy guy!
