Larry

Larry is the very definition of a snuggle bug. If you are looking for a greyhound to share your couch with, this lovable 4-year old boy could very well be the hound for you.

First up, Larry has a couple of specific requirements for his new home. Larry has separation anxiety and requires a home with the patience and love to continue with training ‘alone time’ and building his independence. We think Larry would do best in a home with another friendly greyhound or medium to large breed dog. However, canine company is not a panacea for separation anxiety, and Larry is not suited to living with FT workers. We would prefer a home where Larry also has lots of human company, so where people are working from home, retirees, or PT workers. Please consider your work and social life outside of Covid19 restrictions as well as your current situation.

If this sounds like your home, Larry will reward you with endless snoot bumps and elbowy cuddles. He loves to lounge about on the couch, and has excellent house manners – he never chews on anything he’s not supposed to and shares his love around to all people he meets. He much prefers attention and treats to toys.

Out and about, Larry walks very nicely on leash and is polite to all the dogs he meets along the way. He enjoys his morning and afternoon walks, and is super enthusiastic when he realises it’s walk time.

Larry is currently in foster care in an apartment and although he has adjusted well to apartment life, a home with some yard space to play in would be a real bonus.
