About Otis
Hi, I'm Otis and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR OTIS,
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW FORM.
APPLICATIONS CLOSE AT 4PM THURSDAY 30/7/20

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach (once I have had my full set of vaccinations)& playtime in the backyard
• Puppy preschool, Puppy primary school, continued training and socialization.
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• I am going to be a big boy so will require a family who is used to large active breeds.
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• Secure Fencing
• LOTS of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
Where I need to improve / Training required
• I require basic training, socialization, on lead training, puppy preschool and puppy primary school so that I grow up to be a well adjusted doggo.
• I am a very bitey little boy and love chewing, especially on feet, boots, pants and legs. My little teethies are razor sharp. Because of this I am best suited to a home with no young children.
ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET OTIS BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
Medical notes
I have an overbite and due to this my bottom canines were penetrating my gums. The vets removed all my bottom teethies at time of desexing.
It is possible that when my adult bottom teeth come through that they will need removing too, however they could also reposition whilst coming through and be fine.
This will require monitoring during teething.
My overbite and having no bottom teeth does not affect me one bit - I can still eat normally and am otherwise a normal, happy and full of life little boy.
Umbilical hernia - repaired at time of desexing
