About Franky ~ 5mo Kitten (Hold Deposit Taken 31/07/20)
Would you like a little buddy, a pal, a new best friend, with whom you can have endless fun? Look no further - Franky is an affectionate, cuddly and confident 5 month old kitten. Charming as can be, Franky loves nothing more than rubbing up against people - any people - and kneading soft surfaces with his little white paws. We think he knows just how handsome he is.
Franky was found by a passer by, wandering around a public carpark. He was brought into the pound at SoCares, and when no owners came forward, DRN brought him into foster care. Franky must have lived in a home as a pet, he’s far too friendly to have lived a life on the streets. We just can’t understand why anyone would let him go!
He’s been extremely adaptable, settling into his foster home with no issues, making friends with the resident kitten and dog on day one.
Franky’s foster carer has a very friendly young cat and cat-loving dog. He would be absolutely fine going to a home with existing pets, but despite his adaptability, a proper introduction will still be required (as always). DRN can provide you with information on how to do this. Franky loves people so much that he would also happily be an only pet who laps up all then attention. Like any cat, he’ll need a few days to explore his surroundings and settle in.
Franky would certainly suit a home with children. He is very energetic, curious and playful. At the same time, he is very gentle, affectionate and able to be handled easily. Franky is large for his young age, he is definitely going to be a big boy who will need some sturdy cat furniture. He’s a versatile boy, who would suit a single person with plenty of time, a couple, multi-person household, or a family.
He would benefit from someone home most of the time, or, an animal friend to keep him company. He would not suit a quiet, low-energy household; as he is young, growing and full of beans. He loves playing and we want him to go to a home who will spoil him with toys he can chase and things to scratch. He is very curious and loves to run and explore. We think Franky would be a good candidate for leash-training, or would love an outdoor cat enclosure or catio.
(DRN only rehomes cats as indoor pets, as this is safest for the cat, however we love seeing secure outdoor areas!).
