Itâs not hard to notice just how stunning our tabby fluffball Elton is â but underneath his rock star good looks is a loving little purr machine who loves pats and being shown affection.
Having spent his early weeks growing up in the wild, Elton wasnât particularly happy about being ârescuedâ to start with. This lovely medium-hair tabby boy would initially hiss when he was picked up, however he quickly learned that pats and love from people was not too bad â so he would start purring.
Fast forward a few weeks and Elton has become much more confident around people, although he will take time to get to know strangers and to settle in to his new home.
Elton is a very funny boy who is lively and active; he loves to climb up on a dresser and dive bomb his foster carers, and he also loves to run and play with his sister Kiki (not yet ready for adoption). He is fine to be picked up and cuddled and will start purring in your arms.
When he has tuckered himself out from playing, Elton will seek out a bed or a warm place to drift off to sleep. Elton likes to be close to his people but he is not especially a lap cat, although this may change as he gets older. He does have a very sweet nature.
For now, Elton is still learning to control his teeth and claws, so we recommend he goes to a home with older children rather than little ones. He is a social kitty and would be fine in a house that already has a cat. Elton is untested on dogs so we do not recommend he go to a home with dogs.

Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. Weâll be in touch!
2. If your application is successful, weâll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carerâs home.
3. We ask that you pay the nominated fee to us via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit (preferred), or in cash. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
4. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty upon adoption. Your adoption fee includes a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership that is completed by us online two weeks after the adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
