Bentley

This is Bentley, the gi-normous Great Dane who was surrendered to us through no fault of his own.

Although Bentley is 3 years old, he thinks he is still a puppy!!! He likes to lean and touch his handler, get down and roll around on the ground and he especially likes to think he is a lap dog!! We have tried to tell him that he is too big - but he doesn't listen to us and just climbs onto laps anyway.

He has a huge booming bark, which is a great alert for any strangers snooping around. But he is just as likely to cover people in big, slobbery kisses and then try to climb in their laps for a cuddle.

He has not had much training, so we are working hard so he learns how to walk on a lead and sit. He does shake your hand - the polite gentleman that he can be.

His new family will need to have had experience with large, energetic dogs and be prepared to do alot of obedience work. He needs a family who will be firm but gentle, with patience and heaps of energy. Bentley will need regular exercise and a large secure yard.
