About Duggee
I'm a really nice boy with great manners. I've had a very rough start in life as someone has cut the tops of my ears off. They're healed now, and although I'm briefly scared when I first meet men, I quickly warm and am a friendly, happy boy. I get on well with other dogs and even cats. I'm good with kids, and so far I'm very easy to walk. I learn quickly, and a firm voice is definitely all I need for correction. I love to be with you and will lay down nearby if you're home. I'm definitely not a dog who wants to roam, but you'll need to have good fences so that I can't follow you when you leave. If you'd like an intelligent, not boisterous boy then I might be the one you're looking for.
Please note that our vet has advised that Duggie's upper left canine and lower right premolar may need dental work at some stage. He may have a very slight heart murmur, but currently has no symptoms.
Please note that due to COVID-19 flight limitations, interstate adoptions outside of QLD/NSW involve overnight kennelling and may be expensive. As this is to be organised and covered by the adopter we recommend doing research into transport options prior to proceeding with adoption. Companies include Jetpets, Pettainers, Dogmovers and Rides4Rescues to name a few.-
