Heeeey, Iām Heathcliffe and Iām a super active boy who can reach super-sonic speeds when I run around the house, which I love to do. A lot.
From the moment I wake up until Iām ready for the first of several naps throughout the day I love to play, run, jump and explore everything around me. There is nothing too high to climb, nothing too small to get under if you ask me.
When I first meet you I might be a little bit scared but thatās just because when I was a baby kitten I was growing up outside with my mummy cat and brothers and sisters, and I was taught to hide from people.
It took me a few days to adjust to being in a foster house and to get used to my foster mummy, but I really love having food all the time and I really love heated blankets and electric blankets on the bed. I will purr myself to sleep on heated blankets without anyone even having to pat me first.
Once I got used to people I could show my high-energy side. And boy can I run and play! I will need a busy family with lots of people to help keep me entertained although I will happily play with a toy mouse on my own too. and you will hear me coming because I trill all the time to let you know I want to play!
I have a dominant and confident personality so if you have another kitty it might take some time for us to be friends as Iāll want to be in charge. I have not lived with dogs and my dominant personality would put me at risk of being hurt by a dog, so I can't live with them, sorry.
Iām also still learning how to control my claws and teeth so I would very likely frighten, upset and may accidently scratch little children. I donāt mean to hurt, I just canāt seem to help myself. Adults will need to continue to redirect my claws and teeth to toys - not hands - when they play with me too.
When I do quiet down I am a gorgeous little purr machine who loves to lay on people and fall asleep. I also enjoy very gentle belly rubs as I fall asleep. And sometimes I like to crawl in under the doona with you and purr away until I fall asleep.
So if you have lots of room for me to run around inside, a nice warm blanket and bed for me to sleep on at night and plenty of toys and people to interact with, get in touch. I think we could be in for a very fun life together!

Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. Weāll be in touch!
2. If your application is successful, weāll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carerās home.
3. We ask that you pay the nominated fee to us via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit (preferred), or in cash. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
4. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty upon adoption. Your adoption fee includes a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership that is completed by us online two weeks after the adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
