About MJ ~ 6yr Old Maltese X Shih Tzu (On Trial 2/8/20)
Meet the absolutely adorable MJ. This handsome man is looking for his perfect home, hes dreaming of a home where his new family love walks as much as he does and can be the best doggo for.
MJ is a lovable, funny and obedient dog. He will come when called and understands ‘sit’, 'drop' and 'stay'. MJ doesnt run away and once he falls in love with you he will
not leave your side. He has been really enjoying the isolation way of life, curling up at the feet of his foster mum as she works from home. He gets the zoomies occasionally and its very funny to watch.
MJ is a little unsure of some household items, the printer is very confusing, and will need to be introduced to these properly in his new home. As he is a total snuggle bug, MJ is looking for a forever home where someone is home for most of the week. For this reason, preference will be placed with applicants who have someone home throughout the day and who will let him be an inside dog. MJ has a small sensitivity with his tail due to an injury sustained previous to foster care. He can sometimes be unsure of being approached from behind, its very important his new family recognise this.
MJ is house trained and knows when to take himself outside, so his new family must be one who loves having an indoor dog. He will not suit being an outside dog, being a cuddly little muffin he is used to the high life and adores being inside with his humans at all times. MJ deserves a loving, active home who will make him one of the family. MJ hasnt been tested with other dogs in his current foster home, so it would be very important that your current dog is included in the adoption process. Its super important to note that your dog must be de-sexed and friendly to be the perfect companion for MJ. Dogs who do not fit this requirement will cause the families application to not be considered. MJ is untested with cats, again this would require correct introduction and management as MJ learns how to introduce himself properly.

MJ is located in Warners Bay, NSW (south of Newcastle NSW). His adoption fee is $450 and includes desexing, vaccinations and microchipping.

Medical notes
Sensitive to people touching his tail (he was hit by a car) and being approached
from behind.
Heart murmur grade 2 (out of possible 6 being the worst).

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.

We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
