Hi my name is Willis. Sadly I need to find a new home due to family circumstances.
I’m good with children and have lived with a child who is now 2 years old, I jump up on people so I will need to be trained out of doing that, I would like to go to obedience school with my new owners, I will really enjoy that and it will give my new family leadership skills.
I’m house trained, I know how to sit, stay, wait, go my on bed, out the kitchen, get your toy & move, so I know a lot of commands.
SRV are trying hard to find a home close to Bairnsdale, so I’m hoping there is a family in my area that would love to give me a forever home.
I was attacked by a female dog that used to live with me so I don’t want to live with another dog, I’m ok with dogs at the park but I would rather be the only dog in a home.
I love the car and if I’m on a long trip will sit in my bed, I may get vocal if I need a drink or a toilet break.
I love to run around and play then take a good nap, I like to be around my family and will follow them to each room and sit in there with them, I’m very loyal like all Staffords are. I likes my treats, well actually I love any food really…lol. Oh and I love a good belly scratch, snuggling up on the couch but only when I’m invited and where my blanket is to sit on.
I’m a lovely boy and very well behaved so hopefully I can find my perfect match.
So if you think you can offer me a good forever home where you’ll be able to give me all the above in return I will give you all the love and loyalty you could ask for!

If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to

and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan at jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every week to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
