Meet Tawny! This darling lady came to the RSPCA via our Inspectorate after growing up in one of Canberra's many 'colony' areas. She has been receiving some well earned love and admiration from our staff, who have managed to turn her from a terrified street cat into a loving pet. Tawny is big on smooching, loves to roll and flirt around her cage when she is being spoken to. She takes time though, and first impressions really matter to her when it comes to meeting new people. She will not tolerate those who try to force their affection on her, and will tell you off if you don't respect her space. That being said, once you are friends with her, there's no limit to the love she can give! Tawny is not suited to first time cat owners, or to living with children. She is quite inexperienced in a home, so will NEED time and patience, and would love a feline friend to help build her confidence!
