ROLLY
Husky x Great Dane x Mastiff with a beautiful temperament.
All who meet him describe him in one word “sweet”.
He is a “go with the flow” puppy who is not too adventurous but doesn’t shy away from new experiences or interactions. He enjoys playing with the resident dog at his foster home but is equally happy with human companions…. And he can also entertain himself.
Rolly has just the right amount of confidence and is responsive to voice commands. He has great recall and we are currently working on his toilet training. He is crate trained for night sleeps and will usually wake early for a toilet trip outside but will be keen to head back to his warm bed.
He is learning to walk on the lead and is picking it up well. He loves food and will wait patiently by the kitchen bench for it to be prepared, he doesn’t jump up…just waits. When his food is ready, he will sit on command to receive it.
Rolly is growing quickly and will be a big boy when fully grown. Whilst it will be wonderful to see Rolly find a loving forever home, this is one puppy we will be very sad to say goodbye to.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
