I'm Monkey and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• I prefer hanging out with dogs around my size as I tend to get a bit defensive around large dogs and may bark or growl in their face.
• Secure Fencing and gates with no holes or gaps I can squeeze through
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• Happy to live with children over 10 years. Smaller children make me nervous and a bit scared

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard for long periods of time
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Small children as they scare me

My best features:
• LOVE people
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• Very playful
• I can sit on command
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I am NOT house trained, so my new family will need not to go to the toilet inside
• I DON'T walk on the lead. It appears I've never been taken for a walk before as I refuse to walk on a lead. I need a family who promise to show me that going for walks is a fun way to exercise and be patient with me.
• I can be vocal when left alone - a family with a lot of time for me, who will allow me inside & include me in daily activities is a must. As well as lots of mental stimulation and another dog for company when you are not home
