About Bella
This little lady is 9 years old but is still full of life and happiness!! She was sadly surrendered to us when her owner became ill and had to go into care. Bella has been in a loving foster home for a few weeks to adjust and is still sad and missing her owner but is doing much better. She will need time and someone with patience to help her adjust to life with someone new. She is living in a house with 3 other dogs and 3 cats and has no issue with them or with kids. Bella has a heart murmur that will need medication and will at some point need dental work (even though there are few teeth left!). She loves to sleep in her bed, likes pats but on her terms and loves her food! She is a chihuahua x foxy and has had all vet work done - desexed, chipped, flead, wormed and vaccinated.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. Just tell us the animal you are looking at and all about you, your family, other pets (desexed, breed, vaccination, etc), yard, renting?, work etc, no long drawn out forms.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
