About Mikey
Hi, my name is Mikey, I’m a young, energetic male looking for an adventurous, loving and patient family to call my own.
I am a medium size bundle of love who likes nothing more than hanging out with my family especially the kids (they drop food and give me lots of cuddles).
I love being inside with my family and fur siblings when my people are home or outside with them playing.
I weight approximately 14 kgs so while I look big in photos I'm not really that big - it can be deceiving (my foster mum says I'm staffy size)
I love to be with other dogs and play with them, run with them, play tug of war with them - I would love to have a fur brother or sister to play with.
I am that age where I am still learning some things but if you have some patience with me and can teach me that would be awesome.
I love finding the squeaky inner parts of toys and removing them, I know how much they annoy people so this is a kind service I offer.
I would love a family or that one special person who have the time to spend with me, teach me some things and I will be your best friend for life.
I look forward to meeting you.
Mikey

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link
https://goo.gl/forms/PqpkCcE89ikDR2Lw1
Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
