Misty ~21mo Great Dane x (On Trial 07/08/2020)

Misty is a beautiful 21 month old great dane x bull arab looking for her forever home!

She is a very affectionate girl, who gives plenty of kisses and loves to cuddle. Misty loves the company of her foster family, and anyone who gives her attention.

Misty has picked up basic commands quickly, such as sit, stay, wait, and shake. She is still learning to walk on a lead, and needs someone willing to put time and effort into furthering her training. She learns quickly with time, love, and patience, and is food motivated which helps with her training. She is reactive to other dogs, so would be best suited to a home with no other dogs until she develops more confidence. Developing her ability to interact with dogs will be something her new family must be very conscious of. Misty is still young and our preference is on a family with previous experience with the breed, to allow Misty to become the best doggo.

Misty will need a nice sized backyard as she’s not yet used to being an inside dog. She has a warm kennel and bed outside which she likes to sleep in of a night, and often lies out in the sun during the day. Misty would love to be welcomed inside to bond and cuddle with her new humans, this will require patience and training to perfect.

Due to Misty's size and age, she would be best suited to a home with no young children, as she still jumps when excited and forgets her own size. Misty is definitely a sweet girl, and would hate to accidentally hurt someone without meaning to! She is untested with cats and pocket pets so we will be placing preference on homes without these.

Misty’s personality really shines through as the loveable goofball that she is. Once she is comfortable (and knows her humans aren’t going to forget to feed her), she is quite content to be left at home throughout the day. However, she definitely looks forward to plenty of pats and play time.

Misty's adoption fee is $350 which includes microchipping, vaccinations and desexing. Misty is currently up to date on all flea and worming treatments.
