Hi there. I’m Rex. I’m an 18-month-old kelpie mixed breed.

I’m a happy & affectionate boy and I’m looking for my forever family. I’d best suit an active family that will include me in their everyday lives. I enjoy going for long bush walks and socialising with my foster brothers. My perfect home will have another social dog for me to hang out with.

I’m a loyal boy and stick close by with my chosen human. Since coming into foster care I’ve been reinforcing my manners. I’m food motivated & enjoy my training sessions. I’m a clever boy & learn quickly. I sit & wait patiently for my food. I come when called & walk nicely on a loose lead. I really love ute rides and can often be found sleeping in foster mums’ ute tray. Foster mum says I may have been a worker, but I’m perfectly happy being a pet as long as I get enough exercise.

I currently sleep outside with my foster brothers in a kennel. I’m a good boy and sleep quietly through the night. I’m good with the cats here in care and have been well behaved around the free-range chickens.

I’m searching for a family who understands the needs of working breeds. A home that can provide me with both physical & mental stimulation. If you think you can provide me with my perfect forever home my foster mum would love to hear from you.
